Q:having solo activities now, how do you feel?
KYU: miss the old times when members were together. was playful all along, but now being alone, most feelings cannot be revealed easily
Q: now studying how to act?
KYU: have acting lesson 2~3 times a week, each session 2 hours. when with the members, no matter is the MV or the variety shows, acting portion is very short, but now have to enter the professional acting world, so cannot be like before, lots of pressure. but very interested in acting, also very excited. having a script at hand, seems like the work is coming out soon.
Q: which kind of actor do you wants to be
KYU: “i’m not a flower boy, so i have to win by my skills. although i’m in a flower boy group, but i’m not a flower boy. i have been living under the light from other members. i’m all ready and set now, hope can reach out to each other through my performance. I really like the actor …. (name omitted…dont know who he is ), will always us his dramas as a guide.
Q: do you meet up often with the members?
KYU: now we are in different places, there’s always a time that 1 or 2 that couldnt make it. since i’m in the same company as young saeng, so we meet up often and discuss with each other. Young Saeng is preparing for his solo album, went to US to meet with the producers, also listened to the songs. I’m often contact with Jung Min on the phone, and help him with stage preparations, also drink with hyun joong very often.
Q: solo activities soon, are u nervous?
KYU: of course, but i wont grow up if i dont have solo activities. didn’t know it before, but now looking at the members having their solo activities, often wonderring when i can be like them, wish to group up soon. everytime when thinking like this, i feels relaxed , also tells myself to be hardworking .
Q: ss501 has a lot of hardcore fans right?
KYU: have made a promise with the fans that ‘coming to our houses will cause inconveniency to both parties, so dont do that anymore. on contrary, hopw to see all of you at showcases and performances’. after that, fans did not stalk or come to our houses. my father always speaks for the fans, says ‘now they chase you, you have to do well. after 10 years, who will chase you’. isn’t this very true? i’m very thankful for all the love from the fans.
Q: when will there be a new group album from ss501
KYU: ‘i think it will be at the end of the year. since we are not under the same company, so the process will be hard. but even so, the idea of members being together is strong, so an album will come’
